The Port Olímpic is hosting the second edition of the Barcelona Electric Marine Show, the leading sustainable boating event, which will take place from April 3 to 5. The event, organized in collaboration with the National Association of Electric Boats (ANBE), will bring together companies leading the energy transition in the boating sector, as well as businesses and professionals from the electromobility and renewable energy industries.
Under the slogan “Connecting Land and Sea for a Sustainable Future,” the Barcelona Electric Marine Show will feature the participation of international groups such as TEMO France, ePropulsion, and Water World, specialized in electric propulsion systems for boats.
An expanding event
At Moll de Mestral, there will be a large exhibition area where visitors can see pioneering projects such as Dhamma Blue's first hydrogen-powered electric boat, the sustainable catamaran by Mallorcan company V2, and Europe’s first 3D-printed catamaran, which is fully electric and recyclable.
Innovative solutions related to boat recharging will also be showcased. Catalan firm VEGA Chargers will present its latest charging systems, while Mallorcan company SUNDOCK will display its floating dock, which allows boats to recharge using solar energy.
Additionally, the Barcelona Electric Marine Show will feature a dedicated space for retrofitting—the process of converting combustion-engine boats into electric or hybrid vessels. In this context, Barcelona-based OCEANecostructures will present its solutions for transforming maritime infrastructures into more eco-friendly spaces.
