Regattas and nautical competitions in Port Olímpic de Barcelona

The popularization of sailing is one of the strategic pillars of the Port Olímpic. The actions are aimed at boosting leisure and recreational sailing, training, professional sailing and water sports.

The Port Olímpic acts as a catalyst for the activities and proposals of the agents present at the facilities, thus generating synergies and encouraging shared initiatives that have an impact on the positioning of the space as a stage for regattas and other marine outreach activities.

La primera edició d’aquesta competició costanera tindrà lloc entre el 8 i l’11 de setembre i portarà els equips participants des del Port Olímpic de Barcelona fins a Sant Carles Marina, a La Ràpita, conformant una ruta de 100 milles.

Des dels J-80 i First Class 8 fins als TP52, totes les embarcacions estan convidades a unir-se a la competició en alta mar, que es mantindrà a la zona de les 12 milles per permetre la participació de tots els vaixells que competeixen a la Lliga Social del Club de Mar Port Olímpic.

The Port Olímpic will be the epicenter of the women's and youth competitions of the 37th edition of the America's Cup, to be held in Barcelona in 2024 and to be organized by the America's Cup Event Limited (ACE).

The Youth America's Cup regatta will start on September 19, 2024, while the Women's America's Cup will start on October 3.
