Prepare the sails, because la Regata Polar is here! The second edition of this coastal competition will take place from September 6 to 8 and will take the participating teams from Barcelona's Port Olímpic to Sant Carles Marina, in La Ràpita, covering a 100-mile route. From J-80 and First Class 8 to TP52, all boats are invited to join the competition on the high seas, which will stay within the 12-mile zone to allow the participation of all boats competing in the Social League of Club de Mar Port Olímpic. From Barcelona's Port Olímpic to La Ràpita, crossing the Costa Daurada
La Regata Polar is a coastal competition that will take the participating teams from Port Olímpic to La Ràpita, a route of approximately 100 miles that will cross much of the Costa Daurada in Catalonia.

LA REGATA POLAR, a Competition Born at Port Olímpic
La Regata Polar (from Port Olímpic to La Ràpita) is a project born from the motivation and passion of the nautical companies at Port Olímpic to promote a popular long-distance regatta, as a complement to the Social League regattas held at the facilities every month.

It also responds to Port Olímpic's desire to boost nautical activity and foster shared initiatives to position the space as a venue for regattas and other marine outreach activities. With the organization of the Club de Mar Port Olímpic and the support of Port Olímpic, the Polar Regatta also has the collaboration of the sailing clubs based at the port. La Regata Polar is one of the most ambitious initiatives we have undertaken, aiming to cover a good part of the Catalan coast in a coastal regatta of about 100 miles. A challenge that promises to be exciting and full of emotion. |
