After the success of the first edition, the Port Olímpic celebrates the second edition of Dijous de Vent, a proposal that seeks to bring sailing to new audiences in an accessible and relaxed format. Organized by the Port Olímpic with the collaboration of several nautical companies that operate in the enclosure, the initiative aims on a sailing experience open to everyone, without the need of previous knowledge.
The second edition will take place on Thursday, July 10 and can be accessed through a public draw already available on the Instagram profile of the Port Olímpic (@portolimpicbarcelona).
An invitation to sail in afterwork hours

Dijous de Vent is consolidated as a monthly event that offers an afterwork sailing experience, with the aim of making sailing accessible to people without previous experience. It is an ideal proposal to get started in water sports or simply enjoy a different afternoon in the sea. Participants will sail aboard sailboats from various companies in the Port Olímpic, in a non-competitive regatta guided by professional sailors. |

An open and participative format
The July 10 edition will include a sailing trip with the 35 winners from 17:30 to 21:00 h, followed by an afterwork with refreshments at the Casa Carmen restaurant, located inside Balcó Gastronòmic.
Program of the day:
- 17:30 - 18:00 h: Reception, welcome and briefing at Port Olímpic.
- 18:00 - 19:30 h: Collaborative sailing regatta
- 20:00 - 21:00 h: Refreshments and social closing at Casa Carmen
Upcoming dates
The July 10 event is the second of four scheduled for 2025, which will be followed by new events in September and October. All of them will take place on Thursday afternoons, taking advantage of the daylight hours and good weather to enjoy the sea in a relaxed atmosphere.
