Digital technologies to improve efficiency, sustainability and port experience

Advanced digital technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, Augmented Reality...) are transforming the management of all economic sectors, enabling much more efficient and sustainable operations.

In this event we will explore solutions that can be incorporated into the blue economy sector and discuss how sports ports can integrate advanced digital solutions to improve their management and services.

In this session we will use the Fishbowl format, a discussion methodology that combines structure and openness to ensure that all voices are heard.

How does it work?

  • Inner Circle: 4-5 participants initiate the discussion on the challenge posed.
  • Outer circle: The rest can observe and, when they want, take a place in the inner circle to intervene.
  • Flexible participation: There are no fixed turns: the rotation is done in a natural way according to the interest of the participants.
  • Shared conclusions: All contributions will be synthesized to elaborate concrete proposals for the Living Lab.

What will you take away?

  • A dynamic debate, where you can listen or intervene as you prefer.
  • The possibility of enriching the discussions with your perspective.
  • Real impact: the ideas raised can be used to define new projects.

Challenge of the session:

How can advanced digital technologies help to optimize the management and use of sports ports, favoring their sustainability and competitiveness?

Key points for discussion among all participants at FISHBOWL:

🔹Smart ports: what can they bring to sports ports and the Port Olímpic in particular?
🔹Sensors and IoT to improve water quality and energy efficiency
🔹Blockchain to ensure transparency in port management
🔹Virtual and augmented reality in the tourist and educational experience
🔹How to make these technologies accessible to nautical companies

Informal space to meet other professionals, companies and institutions of the sector, while enjoying appetizers.
